AN ANGEL RETURNING HOME
She was a kind and gentle soul
Who showed a lot of love
She left this Earth a few days ago
Now she's looking down from above.
A warm and loving being
Honest, humble and meek
Qualities that the Master had
That we all wish to seek.
During her life she strived to find
Happiness, joy and ease
She had her troubles along the way
Her soul is now at peace.
We on Earth can now recall
The memories left behind
Of an angel while on Earth
Now with her own kind.
"We have her now
Safely in our domain",
These words are heard
As angels echo the refrain.
She has returned home
To that other land
Up there with the angels now
Walking together hand in hand
