Newspaper Alleges Truly Sensational 'Evidence' In The Diana Investigation

There've been so many articles and conspiracy theories surrounding the death of Diana that it's easy to think 'here we go again' when new "allegations" emerge. Today, however, the Daily Mail has gone further than any with a sensational report in which they seem to implicate the Royal Family and even a member of Diana's own family in the events surrounding her death on August 31st 1997.
CLAIM ONE:
According to the Mail's investigator, Sue Reid, a man working in the British Embassy in Paris on the night of Diana's death has claimed two plummy-voiced men burst into his office just before the black Mercedes car carrying the Princess and boyfriend Dodi left the Ritz hotel at midnight.
The man, whom the Mail refers to as Mr X, worked as a wireless operator inside the British Embassy from where encrypted phone calls and messages were sent and received between the Embassy and the highest echlons of British society, primarily Downing Street, Whitehall and the Royal Palaces.
A middle-aged man, Mr X is, according to the Mail, an ardent Royalist (therefore he had/has no political/republican agenda or wish to slur the monarchy).
According to the Mail, Mr X later named the brother of Diana's sister, Jane, as being one of the two men whom he claims brusquely ordered him to leave his office, not to return until told, Mr X later claiming: "It was that bastard Fellowes. He turfed me out of my own office. He was in Paris the night Diana died."
However, Mr X's story has been told via a third party, but as the Daily Mail journalist writes: "If true, it will link the Royal Family to events in Paris on the weekend of the Princess's death."
The paper reports that Sir Robert Fellowes, one of the most high profile and powerful figures in the Royal household for many years, has told Sir John Stevens and his investigators that he and his wife Jane were together in Norfolk on the weekend it has been alleged he was in Paris.
CLAIM TWO:
A second sensational allegation surrounds the flight which took Prime Minister Tony Blair to Northolt air base on the Sunday, where he joined Prince Charles and members of Diana's family and diplomats on the tarmac as the Princess's body arrived home.
When the plane landed in Northolt, a co-pilot on the RAF jet asked an unnamed official: "What's really going on? We've been on standby in Scotland since 5pm on Friday waiting to make this flight to Northolt with the Prime Minister."
If true (the emphasis being on 'if') then this would mean Diana's death was possibly planned and foreknown to a number of people at the highest levels.
CLAIM THREE:
The very well researched Mail report also claims that the squad investigating the death of the Princess have been handed a nine-line note from an insider who worked in America at the CIA's spy base.
Referring to two men who have been repeatedly named as spies working in Paris on the night of Diana's death, the note allegedly tells Lord Stevens and his team: "If you are brave enough, dig deeper to learn about them. Both MI6. Both were involved at the highest level in the murder of the Princess."
Sir John Stevens' initial findings from his investigation into the Paris crash will be revealed to the Royal Coroner, Michael Burgess, in around September this year.
In an attempt to counterbalance such a sensational report as this, it has to be asked: why would such a well-known Establishment figure as Sir Robert Fellowes expose his face to such a degree in the moments before Diana was driven away from The Ritz? And why on earth, if the secret services went to the lengths to 'murder' Diana, would they be so sloppy as to alert the crew of the Prime Minister's jet in such a way as to raise suspicions following the death of one of the most famous women in the world? A jet or helicopter can very soon be hired to carry the PM as soon as a major event occurs.
You also have to think that, if the Daily Mail had hard evidence that even one aspect of the above allegations is true, the story (albeit referred to briefly on the front page) would not be tucked away on pages 34 and 35 of today's edition.
Once again, the story of the Diana investigation continues to leave us all with so many questions and so few answers.
Only time will tell if the latter ever outnumber the former.... _________________ Diana, Princess of Wales is and always will be The People's Princess.
